Healing Time: 6-8 weeks
Jewelry: 16g- 14g flat back labret, captive bead ring, or circular barbell
Troubleshooting: Oral piercings tend to swell a lot, so to prevent your jewelry from sinking into your skin and causing unnecessary damage your piercer should initially put in longer jewelry. You can downsize your jewelry usually after 2-4 weeks.
Aftercare: For inside your mouth, use a non alcoholic mouthwash like Biotene or H2Ocean 2-4 times a day or as needed. Refer to our Aftercare Instructions for more details.
Retiring: These piercings close fast compared to other piercings. They will heal from the inside out, so sometimes the inside will be closed and the outside still a little open. They do leave behind a little scar almost always.
